Kimberly Jackson

Kimberly Barlar Jackson passed July 13, 2022, in Mobile, AL. surrounded by her family who will continue to honor her legacy by loving hard and always reaching for the stars. Her daddy and brothers were waiting for her to join them in Heaven. Kimberly graduated from Davidson High School in 1987, where she was a cheerleader, homecoming queen, and beauty queen. But for her, best of all was becoming a mother to her children.
The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Kimberly. She loved everyone and all loved her. Her greatest joy in life was being a wife, mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her father, Keith R. Barlar, and brothers, Kevin and Ken Barlar.
Kimberly is survived by her soulmate and loving husband of 31 years, Cliff Jackson; two sons, Justin Crossley and Christian Jackson (Hannah); daughter, Whitney Rooker (Trey); grandchild (Lucas Crossley); mother, Marilyn Bishop (Robert); brother, Keith Barlar (Neeke); grandmother, Evelyn Briney; mother-in-law, Sue Parnell; sister-in-law, Allison Matheny; nephews, Graham Barlar and Jackson Matheny; nieces, Savannah Barlar and Kellee Matheny.
She will be deeply missed by family, friends, and all who knew her. In a bittersweet moment, we know another angel has found their wings.
Family, friends, and others whose lives Kimberly touched are invited to visitation on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, from 11am-12pm at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home at 6040 Three Notch Road, Mobile, AL. 36619. To honor Kimberly's request, a private burial service will follow for immediate family.
