A native of Prichard, AL and resident of Mobile, AL died on Sunday, May 3, 2020 at the age of 89. Mr. Boyd was a Veteran of the United States Army who served in the Korean Conflict. He had a 33 year career with the Civil Service. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Marlene Boyd; daughters, Sharon (Eric) Olson and Toni (William) Ramey, Jr; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Private visitation will be held from Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Friday, May 8, 2020 followed by Funeral services in the Chapel at 10:00 AM. Interment will be in Alabama State Veterans Cemetery, Spanish Fort, AL. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be made to the donors favorite charity. Condolences may be offered at www.mobilefuneralservice.com.
