Alec Edward Nelson

Alec, a native Mobilan born on May 6, 1990, to Steven E Nelson and Donna (Loftin) Carroll, passed away February 25, 2023.

He is survived by the love of his life Annie Margaret Smith, his parents, Grandparents Betty Loftin, Thomas and Carolyn Nelson, Brother Douglas Laurio, Jr., Aunts Barbara Loftin, Andrea Lowery and Cynthia Nelson Cousin and lifetime best friend Darrell Taylor Jr, Cousins Brooke Lawson, Lindsay Nadobny and Abigail Lowery and many other relatives.

Alec was a Heavy Equipment Mechanic at Penske Truck.

The family will hold visitation March 4th, at the Mobile Memorial Gardens with graveside service following. Family and friends are invited to attend.

Alec loved fishing and was known to belt out "My Way" by Frank Sinatra on any given karaoke night. He had a warm gentle soul and would give you the shirt off his back if you were in need. His smile lit up a room and he had a great sense of humor.

Alec will be missed deeply and will be forever in our hearts.
