Alfred Hardy Webb, Sr., a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL, died Saturday, January 2, 2016 at the age of 88. He attended Alba High School; was a veteran of WWII and retired from the Mobile Police Department at the rank of Lieutenant after 30 years of service. He was an active member of the F.O.P. Azalea City Lodge 17. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn; sons, Michael and Alfred, II; daughters, Peggy, Patsy and Cindy; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. The family wishes to extend gratitude to the blessed hands of Kindred Home Hospice for their support and services. Funeral services, with Chaplain Ed Connick officiating, will be held Thursday, January 7, 2016 at 12:00 Noon from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening, January 6, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Thursday morning from 11:00 AM until service time.
