Alice Louvenia Deakle

Alice passed away in the early morning hours of February 13, 2023. Alice was 82 years old.

Alice Deakle was born in Mobile, Alabama on May 31,1940. She graduated from Theodore High School in 1965. She retired in 2007 from AAA Cooper Transportation. She loved to travel with family and friends. She was an amazing Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. She loved playing with her great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by Charles Mancil (Father), Lena Mancil (Mother), Kenneth Mancil (Brother) and Wayne Mancil (Brother).

She is survived by her two sons Charles Richard Walker (Tina) and Jeffrey Allen Walker (Sheryl), her granddaughter Shirley Madeline Walker-Yeager (Stephen), two great grandsons Sebastian Walker Yeager and Salvatore Walker Yeager, two sisters Sarah Wright and Minnie Kay Gwin and one brother Johnnie Mancil. Also survived by her dearest special friends Paulett Pratt, Julie Gabbard, Charlene Petro, Lynn Hill, Ann Brewer and many other friends.

Officiator is Brother Mack Morris. Pallbearers are Tom Gwin, Stephen Yeager, Russell Gwin, Trey Gwin, James Bryan III and James Bryan IV, honorary Pallbearer Sebastian Walker Yeager. Family visitation will be held on Friday, February 17th from 12:30pm to 1:00pm at Mobile Memorial Gardens. Public visitation will be held on Friday, February 17th from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at Mobile Memorial Gardens. Chapel will be held on Friday, February 17th at 2:00pm at Mobile Memorial Gardens with graveside to follow.
