Alice Geraldine "Geri" Oswald Fillingim, a native of Frisco City, AL and longtime resident of Mobile, AL, died Saturday, November 21, 2015 at home in the care of her family at the age of 81. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Anthony "Tony" Fillingim; and her parents, C. Bonnie Oswald and Sallie Mae Bodiford Oswald. Geraldine is survived by her four sons, Randy (Robyn) Fillingim, Ray (Chris) Fillingim, Greg (Sharyn) Fillingim and Jerry Fillingim; one daughter, Toni (Geary) Murphy; eight siblings, Burnis Oswald (Julian) Godwin, Sue Oswald Bailey, Earl Oswald, Roland (Teri) Oswald, Bob (Sharon) Oswald, Frances Oswald Crawford, Helen Oswald (Don) Jordan and Linda Oswald Viita; nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Geraldine and Anthony were active in the Shriners. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Abba Shrine Center, 7701 Hitt Road, Mobile, AL 36695. The family will receive friends at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Wednesday, November 25, 2015 from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM. Funeral services, officiated by Dr. Mack Morris, will follow at 10:00 AM from the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
