Alice Catherine Adams Harris, a native and longtime resident of Mobile, AL, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at the age of 91. She was a longtime active member of Government Street United Methodist Church, served on the Church Board and a member of the Bee Hive. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Adams and Sudie Conway Adams, and her husband, Buford Eugene Harris. Her survivors include her cousins, Freddie (Ann) Browne and Jimmy (Mildred) Conway; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 22, 2018 at 12:00 Noon from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial donation in Mrs. Harris' name to Government Street United Methodist Church, 901 Government Street, Mobile, AL 36604.
