Baby Alyssa Marie Thrash

Alyssa Marie Thrash, aged 2 1/2 months old, passed away in her parents' arms at Children's of Alabama Hospital in Birmingham, AL on July 3, 2018. After struggling with vein stenosis and pulmonary hypertension, she passed gently into the arms of Jesus.

Alyssa is survived by her parents Carlos and Ashley Thrash of Mobile; her sister Carley Thrash at home. She also leaves behind her grandparents, Terry and Brenda Huggins of Mobile; and Elizabeth Jackson of Mobile. She is also survived by great grandparents Edward and Linda Harwell of Mobile. Alyssa is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and countless family friends. She is proceeded in death by her grandfather, Willie Thrash of Mobile.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Mobile, AL. Visitation will be held Monday, July 9, 2018 from 5:00pm-8:00pm. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at 10:00am at the funeral home. The family would like to extend their appreciation and gratitude for everything USA Children's and Women's Hospital and Children's of Alabama Hospital have done for their little girl.
