Anita Carr (nee) Batistis, 66, passed away peacefully with her loved ones by side Jan, 27, ’21. She was born to Bonifacia and Pedro Batistis in Biliran, Leyte, Philippines She came to the U.S. after marrying her sweetheart, Tony in 1978. Anita was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend to many!!!! She was a beautiful woman, inside and out and to her loved ones was a precious part of their lives. She was a devout Cathlolic and was a member of the Fil-am association.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband and best friend, Tony Carr, her children, Tony (Amanda) and Rachel (Alex) Miller, her grandchildren Blake and Chasity Carr and Julian, Macayle, and Lance Miller, her family in the Philippines; sisters Margarita B. Udtohan, Lolita B. Rubi, and Teresita B. Tamayo, brothers Charlito L., Lolito L., and Florante L. Batistis, aunts Sally Garrison,
Catalina Dykes and Susan Lawson, and her in-laws Tracy (Paul) Garza, Jim (Linda) Carr, Carolyn (John) Forton, Nancy Carr, John (Dorothy)Carr, Colleen (Clay) McGee and Erma Henshaw. Many nieces and nephews. Anita was preceded in death by her mother and father, Bonifacia and Pedro Batistis, brother Charito and brother in law Lester Carr.
Funeral services at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home 6040 Three Notch Rd on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at 1pm. Visitation starts at 11 am
Burial services will be at AL State Veterans Memorial Cemetery 34904 AL 225 Spanish Fort 36577 @ 2:30
