Ann Marie Fisher Davis passed away peacefully on April 16, 2016 at the age of 87 at Allen Memorial Home in Mobile, AL. She was born on April 9, 1929 in Mobile, AL. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Floyd A. Davis, and a daughter, Patricia Ann Davis. She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Davis Cromer (Rod); her grandson, David Cromer; nieces; nephews; cousins; other family members and friends. Ann was a 1946 graduate of Semmes High School. She retired from South Central Bell Telephone Company. A longtime member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Pascagoula, MS, she was a member of the Altar Guild and Daughters of the King. She was also a member of Church of the Redeemer Episcopal Church in Mobile, AL. Ann was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Bell South Pioneers. She and her husband were avid square dancers and members of the Singing River Swingers in Pascagoula, MS. Ann was instrumental in the formation of Christians United in Pascagoula, MS. Her family is asking that, in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to Allen Memorial Home, 735 S. Washington Avenue, Mobile, AL 36603. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 1:00 PM until service time. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
