Anna Solomon

Lorraine Nicholas Solomon peacefully passed away May 17, 2018. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years J. C. (Jake) Solomon and her parents, Edward James Sr. and Anna Belle Nicholas. She is survived by her three children, Scott Solomon (Joanne), Steve Solomon (Rene') and Lauren Musgrove. Seven grandchildren, Christopher, Natalie, Amanda, Anna, Billy, Adam and Jake. Also included are numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Brothers and sister include, Robert Nicholas (Ann), Edward Nicholas (Nancy) and Dorothy Foy (Jerry). Lorraine was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She was an amazing woman who always preferred giving rather than receiving and she always welcomed family and friends into her home. But, her best quality was the love for her family, which was beyond measure. She and her husband lived a Christian life of faith and the family takes comfort in knowing they are reunited with family in heaven. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, May 21, 2018 at 12:00 Noon from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will be Mobile Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be made to Orchard Assembly of God Church, 6750 Howells Ferry Road, Mobile, AL 36618.
