Mar. 31, 1927 Sept. 19, 2014 Annie Ruth Brantley Balzli entered into Heavens Gate on September 19, 2014. She was born on March 31, 1927 in Ole Town Texas, AL Monroe County to Russell Brantley and Edna Mixon Brantley. She was married and is survived by Jack R. Balzli, Sr. for 54 years, residing in Mobile, AL. She was also survived by her loving pet, Cody, the love of her life. She started her career at Alabama Power Co. at the age of 18, and held various positions in the company, retiring after 36 years. She was very active in many career organizations, a past president of the Mobile Credit Women International and a member of its state and international organizations, and her Homeowners Association. She was the Queen of the Incas in 1966, sold Avon products for more than 35 years, and attended Kingswood Methodist Church, Sunday school, and Circle meetings for many years. She was an avid Alabama football fan. A special thanks goes to her caregiver, Peggy Barnett. Visitation will be on Monday, September 22 from 5 7:00 P.M. at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, September 23 at Kingswood United Methodist Church.
