Arlene Huggins

Our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister, Arlene Huggins, passed away Thursday, July 22, 2021, at the age of 81. Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Arlene was native of Neely, MS and long time resident of Mobile, AL. She was a graduate of Convent of Mercy.

Some of her greatest joys were cooking for her family, watching the birds gather on her patio and caring for her flowers.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Billy Huggins; her parents, Claude and Cleoda Antoine; her brother, Nathaniel Antoine; and her grandson, John Henry McAdams.

She is survived by three children, Roselle (Troy) LeGore, Chris (Kimberly) Huggins and Renee Huggins; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two sisters, Rita Taylor and Paulette Hightower; two brothers, Louis (Cindy) Antoine and Paul (Kay) Antoine.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Our Savior Catholic Church on Thursday July 29, 2021 at 11 am. Visitation will be at the church prior to Mass. The family will receive family at 9:30 am and friends at 10:00 am until Mass begins. Interment immediately following Mass at Mobile Memorial Gardens.
