Arthur Mcgrew

Arthur Lee (Buddy) McGrew Jr. who was born June 7, 1947 in St. Joseph, LA. and resided at the William F. Green State Veterans Home in Bay Minette, AL. for the past 3 years passed from this life on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at the age of 74. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jessie McGrew, father, Arthur McGrew Sr. and sister, Lola Davis. He is survived by his sisters, Betty (Ken) Mahoney, Mary (W.T. - deceased) Evans, Cheryl (Randy) Williams, Sandra (Albert) Roberson and his son Daniel McGrew as well as many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

He served in the U.S. Army for 4 years as a heavy equipment mechanic and Ingalls shipyard for a few years as a pipefitter before being disabled. He loved to fish, going to casinos, spending time with family, watching home improvement, cooking and law enforcement shows.

We would like to thank the William F. Green State Veterans Home for the care provided to him for the past 3 years and a big thank you to the North Baldwin Infirmary staff for the care provided and the ease of deliverance.

Visitation will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. with Chapel service following at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
