Axie Louverne Vick, 71, of Mobile, Alabama passed away on August 27, 2024.

Louverne was born on November 14, 1952 to Jule and Axie Brown in Enterprise, Alabama.

After graduating from Troy University, she taught school for a short time. Louverne married the love of her life, Lester Vick, and together they pastored for many, many years. Once married to Lester, her focus became family and ministry. She became a stay-at-home mother to Danielle. Louverne had many interesting hobbies. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting along with many other artistic things. Louverne and Lester also enjoyed canning fresh vegetables and making jams and jellies, which she eagerly shared with her family and friends. Later on in life, Louverne decided to return to work. She worked in hospital billing and accounting for Chuck Stevens' Automotive. She loved the Lord with all of her heart and we know that she is worshiping at the feet of Jesus.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Lester K Vick; parents, Jule and Axie Brown; brothers, Frank Brown and Jule Ray Brown; sister, Louise Caplinger.
