Barbara Ann Smith

Barbara Ann Smith, 85, of Wilmer, Alabama passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at Providence Hospital. Barbara was born on December 29, 1937 in Mobile, Alabama. During her lifetime, she worked as a store clerk until she was diagnosed with breast cancer, which she beat. In her later years, she spent her free time reading, watching soap operas, and spending time with family.

She was preceded in death by; father, Fred Howell; and husband, Clifton Smith Sr.

She is survived by; her children, Clifton Smith Jr, Carl Smith, Calvin Smith, Julia Story, and Christopher Smith (Belle); grandchildren, Haley, Neveah, Jarod, Madison, and Connor; other relatives and friends.

The funeral services will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Saturday, June 10, 2023. Visitation will take place prior to the service at 9:00 am.
