Barbara Ann "Bobbie" Walters Carter, a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL, died Sunday, March 5, 2017 at the age of 63. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 40 years, Gregory David Carter; her parents, Eugene Fredrick Walters, Sr. and Vera Elouise Kountz Walters; her brother, Eugene Fredrick Walters, Jr., and her sister-in-law, Debbie Walters. Her survivors include three daughters, Terresa (David) Smith, Annette (Mitchell) Cowart and Karen Carter; her grandsons, Gaven Smith, Colby and Logan Atkins; two sisters, Juanita (Dan) Carter and Melissa (Rodney) Norris; two brothers, Larry (Pat) Walters and Mitchell Walters; mother-in-law, Geneva Phillips; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 9, 2017 at 10:00 AM from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening, March 8, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Thursday morning from 9:00 AM until service time.
