Barbara Lindsey Cross

Barbara Lindsey Cross, 95, died May 30, 2023, with her children by her side in Goodway, Alabama.

Ms. Cross was born April 26, 1928 in Jachin, Alabama but moved to the Gulf Homes in Chickasaw, Alabama in 1941.  She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Saviour in April of 1945 and was baptized.  She has been a member of Chickasaw First Baptist Church, Toulminville Baptist Church, Myers Memorial Baptist Church and Seven Hills Baptist Church and served in many areas faithfully. She has read the Bible through many times.  She wrote in one of her bibles, “The Bible is God’s love letter to me. It tells me how to live my life for Jesus. God is my refuge and strength. He is ever present in my life. I am trusting in God. He is directing my path each day. I love him with all of my heart, soul, mind and strength.

She is survived by her Children: Susan Coley Cambron, Dennis (Debbie) Coley, Lisa Normand (Clint) Davis, Kim Coley Nall. Melanie Cross (David) Odom. Grandchildren: Ashley Cambron (Matt) Ansley, Aaron (Kim) Coley, Clay (Kristin) Normand, Megan Tasi (Justin) Pittard, Coley Normand (Jim) Simmons, Jordan Nall. Great Grandchildren: Dane (Hinako) Ansley, Matthew Ansley, Ana Claire (Joel Jackson) Ansley, Destin Coley, Deyton Coley, Emilee Odom, Ansley Darling, Chloe Darling, Ellie Darling, Eli Nall-Gattison, Bentley Odom, Maelee Simmons, Ava Simmons, Novalee Nall-Gattison, Malie Tasi, Charleigh Odom, Nolen Simmons, Reagan Odom, Sawyer Odom, Micah Tasi. Great Great Grandchild: Lio Ansley

She is preceded in death by a Granddaughter, Micah Coley Darling, Great Grandson, Tavin Nall, Son-in-law, Gerald Nall and Jason Tasi.
