Barbara J. "Dee" Ellis, a native of Conecuh County, AL and a longtime resident of Mobile. She was preceded in death by her father, Luke Ellis, mother, Nellie Mae Cox Ellis and nephew, Terry Reeves. She is survived by her sister, Lawana Melvin; a niece, Gaynor Floyd; great niece Bridget(Joe)Stroh. Funeral services will be held from Mobile Memorial Funeral Home on Sunday, March 8, 2015 at 3 PM. Visitation will start at 1 PM. The family request that in lieu of flowers, that memorials be made to Clover Leaf Baptist Church Building Fund at 6500 Three Notch Rd., Mobile, AL 36619. Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Gardens, on Old Pascagoula Rd. Condolences may be offered at www.mobilememorialfunerals.com.
