Barbara Ann Turner Lumpkin, a native of Beaumont, MS and longtime resident of Mobile, AL, died suddenly Sunday, June 11, 2017 at the age of 71. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth Doyle Turner and Jettie Pearl Pipkins Turner; her husband, Arthur Douglas Lumpkin, Sr. and her grandson, Nickolas Doyle Lawson. Her survivors include her son, Arthur Douglas "Bo" (Robbin) Lumpkin, Jr.; her daughter, Patricia "Trish" Lumpkin (Fred) Lawson; one brother, Wayne (Darlene) Turner; four grandchildren, Remington "Cody" (Winter) Lawson, Casey D. Lawson, Arthur Douglas "Bud" (Crista) Lumpkin, III and Alexis D. Lumpkin; one great-grandson, Remington Abel Lawson; other relatives and friends. Funeral services, officiated by Dr. Mack Morris, will be held Thursday, June 15, 2017 at 12:00 Noon from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening, June 14, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
