Benjamin Whitfield

Benjamin C. Whitfield, a longtime resident of Mobile, died on Thursday. He was a graduate of Murphy High School and had worked at Big 10 and Trax Tires for many years. Mr. Whitfield was preceded in death by his mother, Evagene Whitfield. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Murrill Whitfield daughter, Ashley Whitfield Davis son, Benjamin Paul Whitfield his father Winston Calvin Genida Whitfield brother, William Winston Kandy Whitfield sister, Lynda Sue Whitfield grandchildren: Burtch Whitfield Davis, Lawson Whitfield Davis, Hamlin Whitfield Davis, Fisher Whitfield Davis nephew, William Winston Whitfield Jr. niece, Sarah Whitfield Hickman and other relatives. Memorial services will be held on Sunday, August 31, 2014 at 2 PM. Visitation will start at 1 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital , P.O.Box 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 381019908.
