Bernard Michael Enger "Mike", a native of Mobile Alabama, passed away on Monday, August 15th 2016 surrounded by his family following his three year battle with pancreatic cancer. A graduate of Murphy High School, Mike went on to attend college at the University of South Alabama where he became a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. After college, Mike worked in the industrial services industry for over 25 years. Mike founded Turbo Filtration Corporation in 2001 which grew to become a successful oil filtration company with operations all over the United States and internationally. Mike also cofounded Hyrdalube, another industrial services company. As a business owner, Mike garnered great respect from his peers and customers in the business community as well as his employees. A devoted husband and loving father, Mike is survived by his wife Lisa, his daughter Elizabeth, his two sons, Michael and Zach, as well as his grandchildren Vera, Rebecca, and Johannes. Known for his dry humor and quick wit, Mike always found a way to lighten moods and bring smiles. An eternal optimist, and with an insatiable work ethic, Mike conducted business just days before his peaceful departure. A wake will be held in Mike's honor on Friday night from 5:00-8:00 p.m., and funeral service on Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. at the Mobile Memorial Gardens. Memorial gifts can be made to the American Cancer Society in honor of Bernard Michael Enger.
