Bertha Albertine Mackey Oden
A native and long-standing resident of Mobile passed away August 25th, 2020 at the age of 76 after a long struggle with Parkinson’s disease and a recent bout with Covid-19. She was a graduate of Bishop Toolen High School and worked as a beautician. She was preceded in death by her parents Robert Louis Mackey, Sr. and Mary Gertrude Hurley Mackey. She is survived by her brothers Robert L. Mackey, Jr. and Vincent Mackey, her children Eric P. (Roberta) Oden and Bridgette (Jason) Young, 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was a generous and thoughtful soul and will be missed by all that knew her. Bertha will be laid to rest August 27th, 2020 at Mobile Memorial Gardens. There will be a graveside memorial service at 10:00 AM.
