Bessie Mae (Tucker) (Lindbergh) Risher, age 96, of Mobile, Alabama, passed away on Monday, August 9, 2021. Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.
Bessie was a former member of Irvington Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses and current member of West Jehovah's Witnesses Congregation. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, mother-in-law, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Eugene and Ida Gertrude (Gordon) Tucker; husband, Clarence William Risher, Jr.; sisters, Edwina (Tucker) Williams, Mary Nell (Tucker) DeLoach, and Francis (Tucker) Grossnickle; son, Clarence William Risher, III; granddaughter, Tiffany Risher; grandson; James Edward Wilkinson, Jr.; sons-in-law, T.I. Lee, Charles Sprinkle I, and Lloyd Volk, Jr.; and newborn great-grandson, Cody Wilkinson.
Survivors include her 6 children, Charlotte Volk of Wilmer, AL, Patricia Lee of Irvington, AL, Eddie Risher and wife, Debbie, of Gulfport, MS, Margaret Sprinkle of Wilmer, AL, Lee Risher, of Key Largo, FL, and Carol Davis and husband, Tommy, of Mexico Beach, FL; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
A private burial will take place at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
