Betty Cochran

Betty Jo Cochran 1942 - 2017 A native of Mobile, AL and resident of Grand Bay, AL died on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at the age of 74. Mrs. Cochran graduated from Vigor High School in 1960 and continued her education at William Carey College, afterwards pursuing a career as a Registered Nurse. She loved spending time with her family and loved cooking for them. She was preceded in death by her parents, Allen Dixon and Rhoda Dixon Young; step father, Gaylon A. Young. She is survived by her two children, Russell Allen (Judy) Cochran and Donna Elizabeth Cochran (David) Wilroy; siblings, Jerald Allen (Ellen) Dixon, Sandra Lucille Dixon, Shirley Anne Dixon Travis, Carlton (Rosemary) Dixon, Billy Ray (Catherine) Dixon, George Wayne Dixon; grandchildren, Bradford Franklin (Tiffany) Cochran, Megan Nicole (Jason) Cochran Eubanks, Jereme David (Bethany) Wilroy, Jacob Aaron Wilroy, Julianne Elizabeth Wilroy, Danielle Elizabeth Wilroy; eight great grandchildren; multiple nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held from Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Saturday, April 15, 2017 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Funeral services will be held from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Monday, April 17, 2017 at 10:00 AM. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
