Betty Robinson

Betty Francis Williams Robinson, 94, passed away on March 4, 2022, in Gulf Breeze Florida. Betty was born February 11, 1928 to Josephine Withers Williams and Oscar Earl Williams Sr in Bothwell Mississippi. Her family relocated to Whistler Ala and she graduated from Murphy High School in 1944. Betty married James Walter Robinson in July of 1949. Betty and Jim lived in Mobile, Alabama until 1964 when they moved to Gulf Breeze, Florida. After Jim's retirement from Naval Air Station Pensacola, they Rebuilt and then relocated to the Robinson ancestral home in Brooklyn, Alabama.
Her husband Jim passed away in July 2017, on the 68th anniversary of marriage to Betty. She is Preceded in death by her parents, brother, husband James Walter Robinson and grandson Christopher Allen Robinson. Betty is survived by her sister Donna Ruth Loftin of Lexington Ky, two sons, Thomas Earl Robinson (Lyn) and Daniel Allen Robinson (Rochelle) both of Gulf Breeze, grandson Jason Thomas Robinson (Lindsey) of Auburn, Alabama and granddaughter Jacqueline Renee Sinkiewicz (Roth) of Milton, Florida, two great grandsons, Evan Thomas Robinson and Connor Jason Robinson and one great granddaughter, Rhoda Allene Sinkiewicz, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Saturday, March 12, 2022 from 11:00 am until the graveside service time at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
The Family would like to thank "The Arbors" of Gulf Breeze and Covenant Hospice for their professional and loving care of our mom. Betty was a much-loved wife, mother, grandmother and a second mother to many young men and woman.
