Betty Jean Graddy Franklin of Mobile, AL went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 10, 2015. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert H. Graddy; mother, Virginia Goneke Graddy; sister, Jenny Faye Hollon and brother, Robert H. Graddy, Jr. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, David G. Franklin; two sons, Michael D. (Sandra) Franklin of Mobile, AL and David Mark (Gina) Franklin, of Milton, FL; two grandchildren, Christopher Michael Franklin and Amanda M. Franklin of Hiawassee, GA; one special great-grandson, Caden Wayne Franklin, of Forsythe, GA; one brother, Johnny M. Graddy, of Castleberry, AL; one sister, Beckie Sue Armstrong, of Repton, AL; other relatives and friends. Betty was an active member of Cypress Shores Baptist Church. She dearly loved her church and her church family. Funeral services, officiated by Rev. Scott Griffith and Rev. Bill Whitfield, will be held Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at 12:00 Noon from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday morning from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
