Betty Hoven

Betty Sue Hoven, a resident of Mobile, AL, a native of Florala, AL and former resident of Citronelle, AL for over 30 years, passed away November 7,2024 at the age of 80.

Betty was a loving mother, grandmother, and a devoted wife for 58 years.

She is survived by her sons Karl Milton Hoven Jr (Misty), Michael Christopher Hoven (Heather); sister-in-law Ruby Henson; grandson Michael Blaine Hoven; granddaughter Ashley Nicole Higdon; great granddaughters Madison Claire Higdon, Makinley Blair Higdon; sister Margie Nell Evey; as well as leaving behind wonderful memories with beloved nieces and nephews.

Betty is preceded in death by her husband Karl Milton Hoven Sr; father Joseph Aplin; mother Alice Mae (Jackson) Alpin; siblings Reba G Jackson, Walter Lee Aplin, Johnny Earl Aplin, Bobby Ray Aplin, Mary Ann Aplin, Celetha A Seymer.

Visitation will be held Friday, November 15, 2024 10am followed by Funeral Service 12 pm at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home 6040 Three Notch Rd Mobile, AL 36619. Interment will follow at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
