Betty Bryars Lindsey, 3/29/31 - 4/06/23

Betty Bryars Lindsey, age 92, passed away peacefully at home, on April 6, 2023, following a lengthy struggle with dementia. Ms. Lindsey was born on March 29, 1931, in Brewton, Alabama.

She was a loved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ernest S. Lindsey, one sister, Doris Rieben, and one brother, James Bryars.

She is survived by her children, Michael E. Lindsey (Alicia), Gina L. Pierce (George), and James M. Lindsey (Ann); eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Royce (Ressie), Glenn (Mary Jo), and David (Betty) Bryars; a very special niece, Joan Scott, and a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives, as well as her beloved poodle, Millie.

The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, with the service immediately following at 10:00 AM, in the Chapel. Interment will be at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Betty will be deeply missed and forever loved by all who knew her; however, we are comforted in knowing that she is now with her Lord at peace.
