Betty Roach

Mobile - Betty Wilkinson Roach, loving Mother and beloved Grandmother, died at Providence Hospital on Saturday, March 7th, 2015, at the age of 90.

Born November 11, 1924 in Bastrop, LA, she was a long-time resident of Mobile, AL. Betty was a devout Christian and loved serving others in the Church, including her time as a Church Organist. She was a person of incredible love, who made life-long friends wherever she was. Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing her, can attest to having a warmer existence by doing so.

Survivors include her Son, James Wilkinson (and Wife, Nickie), her Daughter, Kathlene Cassano, her Brother Raymond Hightower (and Wife Betty), her Sister, Mary Palmer, and her Grandchildren James Wilkinson Jr. (and Wife Michelle), and Nicholas Cassano. She was also survived by Two Great Grandchildren Four Great Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews. Betty was preceded in death by her Husband Alex J. Roach.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at 12 noon from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Wednesday 10 AM until service time at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
