Beverly Newell Adamson, age 65, of Pensacola, Florida, passed away Sunday, November 18, 2018, at her home.
Beverly had many passions in life including cooking any and all seafood, baking her famous carrot cakes, spending time at the beach, sewing, and above all enjoying time with her beloved children and grandchildren. Beverly's work ethic was beyond reproach. She worked for Alabama Power and Southern Company for 37 years, retiring in 2017. Beverly spent the remainder of her life living in her dream home with her husband of 46 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Myrtle Newell and brother, Ronnie Newell.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Mike Adamson; sons, Justin (Amber) Adamson and Jonas (Bailey) Adamson; grandchildren, Lincoln, Porter, and Chandler Adamson, and Rex and Patrick Adamson; siblings, Harry (Rosemary) Newell, William (Lavada) Newell, Robert Newell, Theresa Jernigan, Margaret Newell, Barbara (Ron) Yokley, and Susan (Gene) Logan; sister-in-law, Rena Newell; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, November 21, 2018, at 1:30 p.m. at Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spanish Fort, Alabama. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 20, 2018, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
