Billie Duke

A native of Gallatin, TN and resident of Mobile, AL died on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at the age of 77. Mr. Duke was a veteran of the United States Army with the majority of his military service at the Redstone Arsenal. He spent 46 years with the Federal Aviation Administration where he was the Radar Sector Field Chief. He loved to hunt and fish. He was a graduate of the University of Tennessee, president of the Mobile Youth Football Association, active in the Mims Park Football Association and Cottage Hill Little League, as well as a High School Football official and baseball umpire. He was also an Eagle Scout. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Alice Duke; three children, Angela Duke, Katrina (Scott) Williamson and Eric Duke; four grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, October 27, 2017 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday Evening October 26, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 PM. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
