Bobbie Joe Myrick, 83, of Mobile, AL passed away on August 9, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents to whom she was devoted, Thomas and Lottie Sumrall. She is survived by her beloved husband, Ernest Myrick; her sons, Richard (Stephanie) Myrick and Steve Myrick; and her daughter, Lisa (Michael) Sweeney; two grandchildren, Nicholas and Alex Myrick; one sister, Ann Hall; and two nephews, Kirk Hall and Kris Hall; as well as other relatives and friends. She was a cherished and devoted wife and mother. Bobbie's kindness and generosity were immediately evident to all who met her. She held her church and family close to her heart, all the while expressing her great sense of humor. She was always known to enjoy a good joke.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 11, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Woodridge Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 PM until service time at 3:00. Graveside services will be held in Matthews Cemetery in Laurel Mississippi on Saturday August 12 at 1:00 PM. Condolences may be offered at www.mobilememorialfunerals.com.
