Brenda Pridgen

Brenda Daw Pridgen, age 75, of Mobile, passed away on Monday, April 26, 2021. Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

She graduated from Semmes High School in 1964 and worked as a Court Clerk for the State of Alabama until she retired in 2008. Brenda thoroughly enjoyed her retirement, spending time reading, hitting the slot machines, and spending quality time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eligie Truman Pridgen; son-in-law, Cyrus Gates; parents, Minnie Ruth Williams Daw and Lee and Louise Morris Daw.

Survivors include her daughters, Leslie Gates and Cindy Dobbs (Jason); grandchildren, Leslie Paige Morris, Carley Elizabeth Morris, Brady Kyle Dobbs, and Cadence Gates; siblings, Albert Mack Daw (Priscilla), Maurice Daw (Rosalyn), Dennis Daw (Brenda), Larry Daw (Marcia), Douglas Morris (Carolyn), and Janice Diaz-Gonzalez (Carlos); and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 30, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
