Byron Donaldson, Jr.

Byron Wallace Donaldson, Jr., 74, died Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at home with his wife by his side.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Sharon (Mitchell) Donaldson; his daughter, Cathy (Ed) McGaughy; his son, Michael (Jessica) Donaldson; brother, Tom (Cathy) Donaldson and sister, Nancy (Glenn) Vickery; six grandchildren, 2 nieces and 1 nephew. Byron is preceded in death by his devoted parents, Wallace and Josephine Donaldson; sister, JoAnn (Jack) Andersen; and daughter, Karen Donaldson.
Visitation with the family will be held Sunday, December 10 from 5-7 pm at Mobile Memorial Gardens on Three Notch Road. Funeral services will be held the following morning at 10 am at the funeral home. Officiating will be David Sargent, minister of the Creekwood Church of Christ where Byron and his wife were members.
Memorial donations may be made to the building fund at Mobile Christian School, where Byron was a former member of the Board of Directors.
