Cammie Sarah "Sallie" McAdams Smith, a native of Carmichael, MS and longtime resident of Mobile, AL, died Monday, April 17, 2017 at the age of 90. Sallie was born on Christmas Eve in 1926 to James Monroe McAdams and Easter Ann Fagan McAdams. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Henry Wilson Smith; her son, Donald Keith (Galia) Smith, of Boston, MA; her daughter, Patricia Lynn Smith (Gary) Meaut, of Mobile, AL; one granddaughter, Sarah Smith, of New York; other relatives and friends. Funeral services, officiated by Rev. J.T. Wright and Chaplain Ronnie Pierce, will be held Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 12:00 Noon from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday morning from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
