Carol Diane Zandhuisen Zimmerman, a native of Great Falls, MT and longtime resident of Mobile, AL, died Sunday, May 28, 2017 at the age of 74. After retiring as an insurance agent for ALFA Insurance Company, Carol worked as a real estate agent for Haney-McDonald Realty. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She was a very generous, loving and caring individual who helped many in her community and never met a stranger. She enjoyed collecting angels, hearts, growing flowers and plants and spending precious time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard John Zandhuisen and Mary Evelyn Havlick Zandhuisen. Her survivors include her son, G. Chris (Kathy) Robinson; her daughter, Cindy Robinson (Charles) Marsh; three brothers, Steve Zandhuisen, Mark (Kathy) Zandhuisen and Hans Zandhuisen; one sister, Merilee Zandhuisen Bauch; four grandchildren, Brandt (Kimberly) Boggan, John Christopher Marsh, Courtney Robinson (Tyler) Henderson and Kayley Marie Robinson; two great-grandchildren, Rivers and Shelby Boggan; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Sunday, June 4, 2017 at 3:00 PM.
