Carolyn Combs

Carolyn Byrd Combs, 84, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2020, quietly in her sleep. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde "Mac" Combs, both parents, and her two brothers. Carolyn is survived by her son, Creed Jeffery and her grandson, Coby Rosheed. Born in Kentucky, Carolyn was an avid traveler. At first, her travels were for school and work as a teacher and later a college professor. Her travels would later become for enjoyment as she had visited all 50 states, all the Canadian Provinces, and a number of other countries. Visitation will be held Tuesday, October, 13, 2020, at 1:00pm at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 2:00pm in the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
