Carolyn Creel McCord 1-15-30 - 7-6-18

A native and resident of Mobile, AL died on Friday, July 6, 2018 at the age of 88. Carolyn and her spouse were active in the music industry since the 1950's. She was the last surviving member of the singing trio, (The Creel Sisters) from Mobile. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edith Elizabeth Creel and Murdock C. Creel; husband, Kenneth Leroy McCord; son, Kenneth L. McCord, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Edith M. (Wayne) Johnson; grandchildren, Tripp Baldwin, Justin (Erin) Baldwin, Wendy D. (Chris) Estes and Jared W. Johnson; great grandchildren, Logan Baldwin, Declan Baldwin, Graham Baldwin, Ethan Estes, Sydney Estes and Ava Johnson; brother, Buddy (Sissy) Creel; nieces and nephews. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at 12:00 from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM.
