Carolyn was a faithful member of Christ United Methodist Church, where she enjoyed many dear friendships. She remained active with her bridge group until her illness prevented her from doing so. She cherished her time spent with her family and lifelong friends.

Carolyn was a wonderful seamstress. She found a way to turn her love for sewing into a mission. For the past several years she was sewing “Nan Bags” and sent them to a school in Missouri. They were a coveted prize for the students to earn.

Carolyn (Nan) always had a smile and a joyful attitude daily. Her thoughts were if she was smiling, others would do the same. Nan was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, wife, and friend. She will be missed greatly.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make donations to any of the following: Christ United Methodist Church, Crawford United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund or Camp Smile (United Cerebral Palsy).

Private family graveside services will be held on Friday, March 27, 2020, at Mobile Memorial Gardens. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Condolences may be offered at www.mobilefuneralservices.com.
