Catherine Taylor

Catherine Perry Taylor of Semmes, AL, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2017 at the age of 69. Catherine was born in Thomasville, AL to Leon and Bennie Perry on September 28, 1947. She graduated from Sweetwater High School in 1965. She later married Bill Taylor of Butler, AL on October 3, 1969 at Aimwell Baptist Church in Aimwell, AL. Catherine is survived by Bill Taylor, her husband of 47 years; sons, Patrick (Kimberly), Bobby, and Jonathan (Whitney); grandsons, William, Jacob, John-Michael, Braxton, Logan, and Paxton; sisters, Mary Rivers (Mack), Faye Huckabee, and Donna Radcliff (David); other relatives and friends. Catherine was preceded in death by her parents, Leon Braxton Perry and Bennie Clyde Jowers Perry. Funeral services, officiated by Rev. Len Hurston, will be held Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM. Serving as active pallbearers will be Randy George, Keith Mitchell, Andy Sellars, Terah Huckabee, Charles Burge and Dwayne Guida. Honorary pallbearers will be Dale Strickland, Jesse Seroyer, Ken Murphy, Ed Eversman, Larry Linder, Johnny Atchison and Sean Carney.
