Cecil Stacey

Cecil Stacey of Saraland, Al., age 81 passed away peacefully at Providence Hospital in Mobile, Al. on Tuesday January 12, 2021.
Cecil was born on May 2, 1939 to Fred B. and Mildred Handcock Stacey (deceased). He is survived by his devoted wife of 58 years, Joyce Vernon Stacey, his 3 children Todd (Toni) Stacey, Ken (Ronda) Stacey, and Leigh A. Stacey Hunt.
Cecil was born in Repton, Alabama and was raised in Excel, Alabama. He has deceased siblings, W.T. Stacey, Fred Stacey, Donnie Stacey, and Terry Stacey. He is survived by 5 granddaughters, Katie (Josh) Roberts, Kendall Stacey, Olivia Stacey, Karalyne Stacey and Cecilie Hunt. 2 grandsons, Blake (Sarah) Stacey and D.J. Hunt, 2 great granddaughters Emma and Addison Roberts.
Cecil served in the Army. After working for Scott Paper (Kimberly Clark) he retired after 38 years as a machinist. Cecil enjoyed spending much of his time on the golf course with his golfing buddies. He also enjoyed a game of billiards at the Saraland Senior Center. He also enjoyed telling stories about his childhood. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife and loved ones.
Graveside services will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens on Monday January 18, 2021 @ 12:00 noon.
