Celia Jo Webb, a native of Webb, AL and a longtime resident of Mobile, AL, died on Monday. Miss Webb was preceded in death by her parents, Kathryn Webb Watson and Cecil Webb. She graduated from Dothan High School in 1967, Troy University in 1971, and later received her Master's degree from the University of South Alabama.
Miss Webb, a member of Christ United Methodist Church was a longtime teacher for the Jackson County, MS and Mobile County Public School Systems. She is survived by one brother, Tommy (Suzanne) Webb; two nephews, Adam (Karlie) Webb and Justin (Nicole) Webb; one niece, Rachel Kathryn Webb, and many cousins. Funeral services will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at 2 PM. Visitation will start at 1 PM. Additional services and burial will be in Webb, AL. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Juvenile Diabetic Research Foundation. (JDRF.ORG)
