Charles Lee Walker, a native of Live Oak, FL, former resident of Mobile, AL and current resident of Havana, FL, died Monday, December 26, 2016 at the age of 88. He retired from Walton Construction in Mobile, AL and Leon County Road Department in Tallahassee, FL. He was a member of Crossway Baptist Church in Tallahassee, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dave Wesley Walker and Mary Elizabeth Grimes Robinson; his wife, Jessie Mae Lindsey Walker; his son, Dave Douglas Walker and his daughter-in-law, Laura Allen Walker. His survivors include his daughters, Linda (Lance) Heal, Patricia Ann Walker and Geraldine (Dan) Nobles; his brother, Floyd (Ethelle) Robinson; grandchildren, Micheal and Corey Heal, Leigh Walker (Robert) Sculley, Larry (Carrie) Nobles, Sonja (Lee) Crow, Cheryl (Mike) Busbin, Dale (Ruth) Nobles; great-grandson, Logan Heal; numerous great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Funeral services, officiated by Rev. Carlton Berry, will be held Saturday, December 31, 2016 at 10:00 AM from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 9:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Mr. Walker's name be made to Big Bend Hospice, Inc., 1723 Mahan Center Boulevard, Tallahassee, FL 32308.
