Charles Weekley

Mr. Charles Howard Weekley, age 83, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2023. Charles was born August 28, 1939, in Mobile, Alabama and a longtime resident of Theodore, Alabama. Many people knew him as "Charlie". Charlie was the definition of a jokester. He was never shy and always had a joke up his sleeve. There was never a dull moment when Charlie was around. He was a dedicated and passionate bowler. He was an animal lover and would never let one go hungry. Charlie loved to spend time with his family, especially, with his grandkids and his blue-eyed great grandbaby. At the time of his passing, he was a member of Victory Baptist Church.

Charlie is preceded in death by his wife, Nina Faye Weekley; his parents, Mal H. Weekley and Nettie L. Jones; two sisters, Charlotte Beech, and Shirley Ann Flowers.

Charlie is survived by his daughter, Lee Ann Woodruff (Jeff); two granddaughters, Michaela Townsend (Scottie) and Savannah Courtney (Joseph); one great-grandchild, Isabella Grace Townsend. Additionally, he is survived by his two sisters; Linda Bradley and Karen Richardson (Johnnie); nieces, nephews, and bonus granddaughters, Karsen Mosley, Payton Adams, and Emily Butler Scott, who loved Charlie as their own grandfather.
