Charlotte Macdonald

Charlotte Guilford MacDonald a native of Hartford, AL and longtime resident of Mobile, AL passed away on Monday, February 11, 2019. Charlotte was a former Paperhanger, Sunday school teacher and Auburn Fan.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Pete MacDonald, her parents Samuel Jefferson and Mary Louise Carter Guilford of Hartford, AL, her brothers, Frank Guilford and Sammy Guilford, her sisters Betty Clark and Louise Laye.
She is survived by her children Charlene MacDonald-Noble (Ed), Marilynn MacDonald Hodges (Ron) and Nick MacDonald (Genia) of Mobile, AL and Alex MacDonald (Teresa) of Gulf Shores, AL. Five Grandchildren Kelly Woody (Bo), Andrew Hodges (Kelly), Allan MacDonald, Anna MacDonald and Gage Nobles, and one great grandson Xander Woody. Her Sister Martha Guilford Hatcher and many beloved nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 23, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. at Springhill Baptist Church. The family will receive friends and family at the church from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to your favorite charity in Mrs. MacDonald's name.
