Christine Palmore

PALMORE
Christine Blair Palmore, 74, resident of Theodore,AL, passed away Monday, July 17, 2017. Christine was born in Rosinton, AL on December 7, 1942 to Wadie and Gracie Blair. She was a loving mother, wife, and daughter with a servant's heart, always putting others before herself. Her unwavering faith made her kind gentle spirit the rock of her family. She enjoyed anything that involved spending time with family and friends, whether it be a good meal, a long talk, or a game of yahtzee. Christine retired in 2008 after working as a receiving clerk for Delchamp's, Food World, and Belle Foods. Christine was preceded in death by her parents, Wadie and Gracie Blair; sisters, Gracie Lillian Smith, Shirley Ann Elkins, Linda Jane Merritt, and Nancy Sue Paul. She is survived by her husband, James A. Palmore; children, Cynthia Dianne Palmore and Gregory Stephen Palmore; stepson, James B. Palmore; sister, Phyllis Callie Mosley; brother, Randy Wayne Blair; grandchildren, Gregory Palmore Jr., Micheal Palmore, Audrey Palmore, Ashley Palmore, and David Palmore; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Visitation for Christine Palmore will be held from 10 am until 12 pm on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, located on Three Notch Road in Mobile, AL, with a chapel service immediately following at 12 noon. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
