Clara Agnes Frost, 82, of Semmes, AL, passed away at The Retreat at Saad Hospice in Mobile, AL. Surrounded by her loving family.

Clara was a faithful member of the Azalea City church of Christ where she taught children's bible classes for many years. She didn't drive until her 30s however she provided childcare for several families, those children still kept in touch all of these years later. She worked as a bookkeeper for National Jewelers until their closing. She worked as a customer service rep at Wilsons Jewelers until their closing. She retired from the State of AL after 11 years of service.

She loved to travel she has been to Germany, Holland, Switzerland, France, Austria, Iceland, Hawaii, Mexico as well as many cities in the US. She was on a bowling league, She was a member the Red Hat society, The Ladies of LaLuna Servante, Sister cities assoc. Clara was well known for her wit. When she was a teenager, she stood in front of a mirror (knowing her dad was about to walk by) "Saying oh you beautiful thing don't you ever die" so that her father would hear her. His response was "Mary you better come check on your daughter". As a little girl she went to school without her lunch, the lunch lady made her buy her lunch which was a dime. She got a spanking and it has been known as the 10-cent lunch whipping! They lived on a farm and one day her dad went to go get a chicken for dinner and he slung it around and and it kept running even when it was dead and that was the end of it for her, she was not a farm girl by far. My dad worked at a pawn shop and used to buy her jewelry, as well as her working for a jewelry store, she became known as "Mrs. Got Rocks". She loved Jewelry whether real or costume.

Clara was always generous to family and friends in need. She was a great cook, family favorites were Jalepeno dressing, buttermilk biscuits, icebox fruit cake.
