Claudia White

Mrs. Claudia Kelley White, native of Mobile, AL, passed away on July 8, 2021. Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

She is preceded in death by her best friend and mother, Charlotte Norden Trussell, and her father, Frank David Kelley. Claudia was a graduate of the Class of 1968 at Davidson High School and was employed by USA Hospital for 15 years before retiring. Claudia was a member of the Order of Polka Dots for over 20 years and a longtime member of Christ United Methodist Church.

Claudia is survived by her husband of 40 years James L. White, brother Stephen Kelley (Janet), sister Sharon Kelley Combs (Terry), stepbrother Jerry Trussell (Craig), stepdaughters Felicia Smith (Darren) and Kim White, and step-grandchildren, Brittany, Jacob, Jordan and Reagan, great-grandchild Braxton... She is also survived by her nieces and nephews who knew her as "Aunt Sissy" and are incredibly grateful for her unceasing love and constant support, Nichole Murphy Hollimon (Brad), Ashley Combs Chambers (Michael), David Harrell (Kimberly), Mary Kelley McKinney (Jon), Julia Kelley, and great-nieces and nephews Murphy, Madelynn, Lilly, Sophia, Georgia, Jackson, Reaid, Jacob, Rhett, Riggs, Charlotte, and Olivia. In addition to her family members, Claudia is survived by her beloved dog, Bella.

Visitation will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 12, 2021 and the funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel. Burial will follow at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
