Clida Pearl Ellison, age 87, a native of Semmes, AL passed away peacefully in Mobile, AL. on December 2nd, 2020 to be with her Heavenly Father. She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin R. Ellison and also her parents Clyde & Fannie Parker. She is survived by her Sister, Evonne (Boe) Sanford (Troy), Brother, Roxie Parker (Bonnie), and preceded in death by her Sisters, Virginia Creel & Katherine Stringfellow. She is survived and cherished by her 4 Children, Steve Ellison (Kathy), Candy Hannan (Jim), Debra Hershey (Chuck), Diane Nicholson (Mickie); 9 Grandchildren, Mike Stevens, Steven Isler, Joseph Stevens, Daniel Wilson, Calvin Nicholson, Stephanie House, Joshua Nicholson, Melanie Brown & Crystal Staton who lovingly claimed her as their “Maw Maw”; 9 Great- grandchildren, several Nieces, Nephews and many other relatives and close friends. She was the matriarch and heart of her family.
Pearl was a dedicated church goer, and a member of Life Church of Mobile. She lived by faith and shared the love of God with everyone she met. Mother Pearl loved having a big family and was happiest when they were gathered together. Her sweet smile was known for lighting up the room when her family and friends came to visit. She was loved by all who knew her and will be remembered fondly for her wit and her uncanny humor. She will be greatly missed by so many.

Due to Covid, the graveside burial service has already taken place for Mrs. Ellison on December 7 th , 2020 for the immediate family. Family and friends visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 22 nd , 2020 from 10:30-11:30am at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home -6040 Three Notch Rd Mobile, AL 36619. This will be a time to reflect on the wonderful memories that she brought to each and everyone of us.
